What Are We Going to Decide to Do?

So as everyone else I continue to hear that things are going bad in the economy. More and more it’s being reported that programs are suffering and budgets are being cut. People are getting stressed even though they are working wondering what is around the corner. Who can blame anyone for thinking about this?

What happens when there is a lot of negative talk or energy is that the mind picks up on it and mulls it over whether consciously or unconsciously. That’s what brains do. They are much lot a computer and will take in all information presented without deciding if it is correct or not. Then decisions will be made on the programs in the computer or in this case the brain. It will not decide if the information, like stated here, is correct information but instead just use the information. Thus, this is why mistakes can occur.

The United States has been through recessions before and has come through them. Perhaps it is time to really pay attention to why these occur and correct those problems. Perhaps it is time to report abuses to the economy before they do the damage, or companies that are not conducting themselves ethically, and maybe it’s paying more attention to what the government is doing. I don’t have all those answers but it is worth thinking about.

But I do know that regarding each individual the mindset needs to be about finding the solutions that either ease a situation, or maybe look for options that are out there. Assist each other in groups or networking, problem solve to ease the anxiety, and even have some fun to keep a balance. The brain will stay in the problem until it is switched to a solving mode. A way to start this is to ask how would you like the situation to be and then how are you going to get there?

In business effort and recognition needs to be given to employees and teams. These people and groups of people can get down from the negativity and it will affect the work. If moods begin to slip it a good time to redirect and even ask what’s going on. Remind the teams that the business is running and great customer service is crucial always and especially now. Where would you go as a customer?

All in all when there is a problem, and I am not saying it is easy, but whenever there is one it must be decided to find ways to get through the obstacles. There must be a plan and goals set. And there must be action taken. Otherwise we stay in the same place.
