I can’t believe these answers that people are replying.
It hurts to see that people just plainly dont give a fuck about much these days at all anymore. Hopefully my generation and my childrens generation ( if we are still here..) will be able to turn those tables around. PETA…. you need to be educating elementary school youngsters. You need to educate them now before its obviously too late and they all grow to be like these cold hearted idiots

Do you find nothing wrong with this. There is nothing normal aoout this kind of treatment. Would YOU like to be treated like this? No animal should be anymore than a person. The test provide nothing useful anymore.

If you REALLY think about it, what the university is doing isn’t right to some extent. There were several tests that werent necessary. BUT at the same time, these animals they get from those adoption centers wouldve been killed after a few days anyways, so its either die; or have a chance at living and even helping the animal. 8 months of research and this is what they find, did you ever think MAYBE there was some advantages for some of the animals?

Just can’t believe how some of the comments here are so brutal… That could be your cat whose skull is cut open and or your dog!! WHERE IS YOUR HEART AND YOUR FEELINGS???
I would take that cat home in a heart beat! But, I know that it is not possible, I wish him to die soon to end his agony and suffering.
What about the ape that they deprive from water??? It is just so cruel!!!
Please make a little donation to PETA this Christmas and do not buy anything that is tested on animals!

Well, I mad this is tax payer money but I’m not for any goverment except for police, courts, and millitary. Though I’m not seeing the big picture to releasing these animals or even lifting my finger. How does this help me in the long run in other words?

Oh get real. What do you expect? You want them to stream 100’s of hours of footage? Do us all a favour and be a miserable ass somewhere else.

The problem is that “normal” is not the same as “common”. And that this kind of “work” in labs won’t get any bebefit to us. It is just a lame excuse to get money.

There is a big difference to me between “normal” and “common”. If this horror happens in all labs, they should be closed imediately, because nothing will come out of benefit to us (nor the animals, of course). But I know for sure that it is not normal to put cats dogs and primates (our next of kin) under such suffering. There is no moral nor ethics at all in this!

The problem is that they’re not respecting their test subjects. If this is to improve human lives, we ought to be thankful for the animals who make it possible. IF we are going to test on them. These labs want to test (let’s say birth control) and they can’t even make sure that the mice and cats they test on are treated properly.
While if a human does clinical drug testing trails, they’re paid hefty amounts. I just think these animal subjects deserve our respect.

I don’t believe in animal experimentation/testing but how does the dr. sometimes lose the reports?! the animals go through all that suffering for nothing! If you’re going to be working in that cruel field at least don’t be so careless & unprofessional about it.
