Most people think that socialism provides more freedom for society. However that isn’t really true. If an individual decides to join the propaganda, and go along with the flow of society and gives up all their individuality, then they can be quite content in a socialistic society.

However, at some point the individual realizes that they have no personal freedoms left, and they cannot even utter the words they might think. Considering the advancement in technology, it is quite possible that one day we could impose thought restrictions on citizens.

If this does occur, you can bet it will occur in a socialist country first, and then progress to other nations who claim to be progressive. The funny thing is socialism is not progressive, it is regressive, and in the past has never worked, so going back to what doesn’t work in the past is not progressive at all. I hope you understand that point.

And if people refuse to stand up for what’s right, or their own personal freedoms they also stand in the way of everyone else’s personal freedoms. Indeed, those who stand for very little, or nothing at all, willing to go along with the flow as injustices occur, they will be the folks that stand in the way of truth, justice, and the American way.

Well, I sincerely hope you do not become one of them, and that you stand up for your own individual rights, and the rights of everyone else around you. If not, in the end you will have no one to blame, and you will have no freedoms left. I hope you will please consider this.
